Everyone else on the network has no problem with it, and it's not a network-access issue, since for now we're going around it by browsing to the file in explorer, copying it to the desktop (or double-clicking on it to open it in Word) and attaching it that way.... Very often in attaching files to email, I have an inordinate wait while in the attach/browse dialogue. My Pictures has about 12 folders in it, one of which has 1054 folders. Is there a finite limit to how many I can have? Should I regroup or is this unrelated to my current prob? Any advice would be appreciated.

When I "attach" and browse for the file I want, then click, the little window goes semi blank and nothing happens. I have done no disk maintenance in which I I do a lot of attaching! Another suggestion would be to use System Restore if you're using Me/XP/Vista, to go back to a day when it was working properly.

I have Graphic Converter 6, which I consider using for importing, browsing and attaching keywords. The plan is then to use Capture One LE (I have it) to do a quick and dirty JPG conversion, The question is now how to arrange RAW files, JPGs, PhotoShop files and other derivatives relatively to each other.

As a type-a guy, I find it very frustrating to watch an hour glass, If possible, rename folders to the shortest possible length and reduce nesting. See if a shorter path affects the success of attaching files.
